Surviving and Thriving

Successful Adulthood: Surviving and Thriving is a one-semester course designed to provide students with information and skills in making decisions as they transition from high school to college, job, and or career. Emphasis is on communication skills, understanding self, leisure activities, etiquette, personal safety, understanding grief and loss, making healthy food choices, and food preparation. Student leadership through Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), is an integral part of this course.
