I believe that Music is in integral part of the students developement. Not only does it teach them something that they can use and appreciate for the rest of their lives, it has been proven to improve math and science scores, as well as spatial reasoning skills. In addition to the purely educational value of music, I firmly believe it is one of the best areas to teach students teamwork, conflict resolution, self responsibility, and to do your best in any area or endeavor. We work hard, we learn a lot, we occasionally do a few pushups or laps, and WE HAVE FUN.
