My name is Wes Haddox. I graduated high school from Rattan in 1984 and attended college at East Central University in Ada, OK. I have been teaching since 1988. My first three years I taught in the Vanoss, OK school district and have been teaching at Antlers since 1991. I have taught math in the 6th through 12th grades and am currently the 9th grade pre-algebra and algebra 1 teacher. I am married to Gayla and have 2 sons. Tony, who is a chiropractor in OKC, OK and Jordan, who graduated from Rattan in 2017 and is attending Southeastern this year on a full academic scholarship. Gayla works in the administration building at Antlers School. I am the pastor of the Hall Freewill Baptist Church in the Hall community, south of Antlers. I enjoy any of my families activities, hunting, and fishing. God is first in my life and my family comes next.
Teaching and coaching is a passion that I have had since I was 18 years old, when I coached my first little league baseball team. Not only do I hope to impact students in a positive way, I know that they also impact me. Teaching high school and middle school math is challenging yet very rewarding for me each year. I strongly believe in the importance of mathematics in every students lives so I work hard to ensure that each students gets the best math education that they can get.
