I grew up in Moyers, Oklahoma. I am the daughter of Rogo and Patsy Brittingham. I have one sister and four brothers. I attended school at Moyers from the first grade until the eighth grade. Moyers did not have a high school at that time, so I came to Antlers High School my ninth grade year. I graduated from Antlers High School in 1984. I went to Paris Junior College for two years and then I transfered to Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I graduated from there with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1988. After graduation, I worked as a Case Manager for ElderCare for one year. I accepted a teaching position with the Antlers Public School System in 1990.
I am married to Donnie Brown. He is the oldest son of Donna Brown and the late Jerry Brown. We have six children between us: Donnie Earl, Rebecca, David, Tyler, Tayler, and Tanner. We have eight grandchildren.
My husband and I also have a feed store in Atoka county. We became the owners of Brown Feed and Farm Supply on June 1, 2014. It was formerly known as Griffin Feed Store. I help my husband at the store after school and on the weekends.
I love spending time with my family. I especially look forward to the holidays and family cookouts. These are special times when we can all be together. In my quiet time, I love to read. Mysteries and historical fiction are my favorite genres.
